Specifications

  1. Educational Qualification: Minimum Graduation with 55 % in any discipline from a recognized University of India.
  2. Experience: Job experience of 1-2 years in the field of Mass Media is preferable.

Desirable Skills

3. Language Proficiency: Good command over languages (Gujarati-Hindi-English).
4. Awareness: Keen interest and aptitude in socio-political issues, with an understanding of their implications in
society.
5. Translation Skills: Ability to accurately translate content from Hindi and English to Gujarati.
6. Skill in Computer and Internet Usage: Students should be proficient in using computers and the internet for research, content creation, and staying updated with current events.

Fellowship Students

Stipend details

1. First 4 Months: Rs. 5,000/- per individual fellowship stipend

2. Next 5 Months: Rs. 10,000/- per individual fellowship stipend

3. Last 3 Months: Rs. 5,000/- per individual fellowship stipend.

  • Special Note: Fellowship students have to pay Rs. 40,000/- fees for the P. G. Diploma Programme in the month of Admission.

20 seats will be divided in two parts in total intake:

  1. 10 Seats – Fellowship Admission
  2. 10 Seats – Payment Admission

Shreyarth University is happy to introduce Post Graduate Diploma programme in Media & Digital Communication designed to support and empower emerging Media Professionals who are passionate about finding fearless truth on print, electronic, and digital media platforms. It aims to offer Shri Shantilal Shah Media Fellowship, supported by Gujarat Samachar and GSTV to selected deserving participants.

  4. Social Media or Communication Manager – In media houses, corporates, or NGOs.
  5. Editor or Copywriter – In publishing, advertising, or digital agencies

Admission in the Post Graduate Diploma in Media and Digital Communication Programme will be based on the following parts:

A. Written Test - 100 Marks

  • It will consist of MCQ, Translation – Hindi to Gujarati and English to Gujarati, Precis Writing, and Creative Writing.

B. Personal Interview – 50 Marks

  • Finally based on the merit, total 20 students will be selected and more 7 students will be in the
    waiting or stand by category.
  • After the entrance test, the top 20 students will be selected, with the first 10 offered admission in the Fellowship category, which includes a stipend, while the remaining 10 will be admitted under the Payment
    category.
  • If any admission in the Fellowship category is cancelled, students from the Payment category will be transferred to the Fellowship category based on merit.
